The title is from an episode of the Simpsons, you either remember or not
On line 17, p. 110, section 222 under “Abortions for which Public Funding is Allowed” the Health and Human Services Secretary is given the authority to determine when abortion is allowed under the government-run plan. The Speaker’s plan also requires that at least one insurance plan offered in the Exchange covers abortions.
What is even more alarming is that a monthly abortion premium will be charged of all enrollees in the government-run plan. It’s right there on line 16, page 96, section 213, under “Insurance Rating Rules.” The premium will be paid into a U.S. Treasury account - and these federal funds will be used to pay for the abortion services.
Thats right, we all have to pay for abortions now because the debate is over on that issue, too (Al Gore said so). Abortion is not my biggest issue, but I am most certainly against it, and have absolutely no intention of paying for the procedure. But to even get on the public plan, which will eventually be the only plan, you are now charged an abortion entry fee......... They should just call it Black-Baby Insurance.
Where does the government get off!? When will the people scream and fight against this type of totalitarianism? Mandatory health care--or jail. Mandatory abortion support--or jail. What else can they force on us? How are we, as a free country, so able to overlook such gross power grabs by the political class. It is unacceptable.
This is another issue, however, that should not surprise people. Barrack Obama was the most pro-abortion candidate in the history of the United States. He voted against allowing care to aborted children who are born alive. Meaning, he wanted a living breathing child to be denied care--to die. Why? Because the mother has the right to choose. He voted for that 3 times, but no-one thought it mattered.
Speaker Pelosi’s 2,032-page health care monstrosity is an affront to the American ideas of freedom and federalism. It is a drastic move towards leftist fascism, and it will ensure only that we all have poor health care. What I find myself asking is: at what point does paying taxes to these people become an immoral practice?
