American Liberalism is Socialism................

In a typical liberal rant, MSNBC’s Ed Schultz tells his radio listeners that he believes the next "socialist"
takeover by the government should be on all the radio airwaves. Its not all that surprising really. I've been saying it for nearly 3 years now: Democrats have become Socialist. They are bought and piad for by extreme lefitst. It's not even a rip on them, it's a fact based on their actions and ideas. They believe in big government control, and want the people to be dependant on them. In their mind, government takeover of free-markets is for the greater good. They are by all standards full blown socialists. Why can't we be honest about it? If liberal think this crap works; if regulating speech and energy and healthcare is what will help, then why not come out and say it? Why not be open, and proclaim a socailist fix is what America needs.

Shultz doesn't hide it, and in a twisted kind of way I respect him for it. At least he is open about what he wants to do. No other Democrat has been so honest.  Europeans still think Obama’s a moderate for crying out loud. Our media persists that he is a centrist. Yet, Obama is the most socialist President this country has seen since Woodrow Wilson. Why continue does everyone try to hide it? The reason is actually very simple.

Everyone knows that socialism is a failure. It simply does not work. Democrats are trying to disguise what they are doing because the public has a justified fear of socialist governments. American's witnessed the tyranny of the socialist in eastern Europe and Germany. We fought WWII against the National Socialist Party of Germany (yes the Nazi’s were progressives), and then a cold War with the Soviet Union. We are still fighting with North Korea, and the human rights violations of China are not easily forgotten. We have socialist dictators in Venezuela and Cuba, murdering opposition and shutting down free speech. If Democrats presented their beliefs for what they actually are (socialism) they would never get a sniff from voters ever again.

Ed Shultz statement is in open support of the government silencing free speech. He is calling for the government to police the radio. It's utter insanity, resembling recent actions of the Venezuelan tyrant Hugo Chaves . If progressives are going to control what we are allowed to hear, why not just go all out and send conservatives to re-education camps.

If you want a glimpse at what becomes of a lefist-progressive government , just take a look at our modern socialist leaders. Venezuela recently sent  their entire  military out upon its citizenry to enforce a new light bulb law, madating new gree light bulbs. The way Chavez tells it, they had no choice. Ever since their great leader socialized the power grid the country has been suffering through rolling blackouts, causing immense problems and financial waste. In response to government incompetence, the government is now forcing people to change lightbulbs, and arresting those who resist. Becuase is a socialist country, the problem is never with the leadership, the problem is you.

Criticism of this act was leveled by the owner of Venezuela’s only remaining opposition news station. This criticisms resulted in the owner being imprisonment yesterday evening. He was arrested on a warrant that accused him of: “remarks that were deemed "offensive" to the president”. Guillermo Zuloaga is now a political prisoner for disagreeing with his government. We are so close to this it is sickening. We are already more concerned with being in-offensive then we are about being honest. It is a slippery slope to tyranny to here.  Both Hugo Chavez and Cuban dictator Fidel Castro recognize this fact, and have openly praised Democrats for their e ffforts in socializing America. They are especially proud of Obama’s socialist health care reform. Castro wrote:

"We consider health reform to have been an important battle and a success of his (Obama's) government. It is really incredible that 234 years after the Declaration of Independence ... the government of that country has approved medical attention for the majority of its citizens, something that Cuba was able to do half a century ago,"

Well, well, well, maybe some day we will finally catch up with that Cuban juggernaut to the south. Under the guidance of Obama, America can one day be as regulated and poor as their crappy country is....... Only then will we be able to claim the title of true progressives.

The difference between American progressives, and a command and control socialist is non existent. Actor Sean Penn, recently backed up this statement during a public defense of Chavez:

"this elected leader is called a dictator here (USA), and we just accept it, and accept it. There should be a bar by which one goes to prison for these kinds of lies. I hope these people die screaming of rectal cancer. Hugo Chavez nothing but a model of an American Democrat."

In this, I agree partially with Penn. Hugo Chavez truly is a model of the American Democrat. He is the product of people surrendering freedoms to government. He is the bloody-result of all their good intentions. My thanks go out to Ed Schultz, and Sean Penn for admitting it.
