Give Up Meat, Save The Planet!

Here we go again with environmental zealots shoving their faith down our throats. The newest target: Meat. According to Climate Chief Lord Stern of Brenford, eating meat will need to become socially unacceptable in order to save the planet.

“Meat is a wasteful use of water and creates a lot of greenhouse gases. It puts enormous pressure on the world’s resources. A vegetarian diet is better.”

It makes me wonder what other uses of water will be deemed unacceptable, being that we can’t even justify its use to feed people. Stern was backed on this issue by Su Taylor, a spokeswoman for the Vegetarian Society:, who said;

One of the best things you can do about climate change is reduce the amount of meat in your diet.”

Stern went on to say:

“I think it’s important that people think about what they are doing and that includes what they are eating. I am 61 now and attitudes towards drinking and driving have changed radically since I was a student. People change their notion of what is responsible. They will increasingly ask about the carbon content of their food.”

You see; drinking and driving is far less harmful then say, eating a cheeseburger. Cheeseburgers turn cows into commodity’s and ruin the atmosphere. They may provide people with food, but at what cost???????

"a successful deal at the Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen in December would lead to soaring costs for meat and other foods that generate large quantities of greenhouse gases. “I am not sure that people fully understand what we are talking about or the kind of changes that will be necessary,”

I couldn't agree more. People have no idea what we are asking for.

They came for the smokers by faking the data on second hand smoke. Then the SUV became public enemy number one because it's heating the planet (says the liberal from his gulf stream jet). They waste billions of dollars on mass transit when less then 5% of people use it. They've abolished the creation of new coal fired power plants, and suddenly America's most abundant energy resource is off limits. They outlawed the creation of new Nuclear power plants, which are the cheapest and CLEANEST source of energy in existence. They even banned certain light bulbs, and tried to persuade people to paint their roofs white (to reflect light, absorb less heat). Now, they are coming for your food.

This is not about the climate. This is about establishing power over people. With cap 'n trade and the agreement at Copenhagen, the government can take control of your food, heat, air conditioning, car, house lights, and daily physical activities. Your shower, dishwasher, sprinkler, TV, computer, camera, cell phone, and even your garbage will be under the rein of government oversight. This is the most massive power grab by the political class in history, and it is based on a massive fraud. Every activity you engage in emits greenhouse gases. If we are to believe what the UN says, every living animal on earth is a threat to the climate. The climate projections up to now are off on a massive scale. Every global warming alarmist has been WRONG in their previous reports, and future projections. Two years ago, we were told the effects of global warming would knock us out by 2010. Gordon Brown, prime minister of England, recently said we have 50 days to prevent our demise. James Hanson, NASA's top climate alarmist, has admittedly lied in his predictions to raise awareness. Nearly every study he's published has been flawed in support of climate catastrophe’s. He has even been caught falsifying temperature records, and claimed 2008 was one of the warmest years ever recorded, oops. HE was also one of the scientist who insisted global cooling was unavoidable in the late 1970’s.

Climate change is the crisis to end all crisis'. It will give ultimate control of people to governments that couldn't efficiently run a used car lot. They are submitting to the agenda of extremist groups because it is the best way to create power.

Here's a few things to keep in mind when thinking about catastrophic climate change.

- The Ice Sheets are thicker in Antarctica then they have been in over 10 years and is currently thicker then average over the past 65 years. Antarctica contains 90% of the worlds ice sheets (yet Co2 continues to increase)

- The Global Temperatures have been cooling for 10 years and were not even 100 year highs when they began to declines (co2 continues to increase)

- Solar activity has matched our current climate patterns. Climate alarmist claim a lack of solar activity is causing the cooling, but scauff at the idea that it caused the warming

- Mars' Global temperature variations have matched earths almost exactly (yet they dont have cows or hummers)

- Global seas temperatures are cooling (co2, increasing)

- Co2 does not cause temperature increases, Temperature increases cause increased Co2. Check the graphs, they are years in separation.

- Clouds have a drastic effect on temperature, but scientist don't know whether they heat or cool the planet.


Don't we at least need a correlation to imply causation? We aren't even getting to the normal fallacy of most scientific study's, they are basically just assuming because it sounds right. They have jumped ship with almost no measurable evidence. The first group to suffer will be the poor. Then everyone else will follow, with the exception being the exceedingly wealthy who can afford the increased costs. These people are sociopaths, obsessed with power and enamored with their own sense of greatness. This issue (and its so-called solutions) may pose the greatest threat to individual freedom the world has ever have faced.
